The Game in 30 Seconds
Box Cricket is a fast-paced, enclosed cricket format played in a netted arena. Shorter overs, harder hitting, and continuous action, designed for groups of friends, corporate teams, and weekend leagues: Bowl, bat, and field on a synthetic turf pitch under floodlights.
Pitch Setup
Fully enclosed netted arena with synthetic turf surface
6v6 format at our Rajouri Garden venue (Delhi)
7v7 format with extended dimensions at our Sohna venue (Haryana)
Single-pitch layout with boundary markers and a dedicated bowling crease
Scoring Format
Each side bats one innings of 5–8 overs (configurable per booking)
Standard cricket scoring, runs per over, with boundaries scored as 4s and 6s based on which net the ball hits and whether it bounced.
The team with the most runs at the end of the second innings wins.
Essential Rules
A direct hit on the back net (no bounce) equals 6 runs
Side net hit on one bounce equals 4 runs
Caught off the net (no bounce) means the batsman is out
Bowling style is set per venue: underarm or sidearm, tennis-ball or rubber-ball deliveries
LBW does not apply; standard caught, bowled, run-out, and stumped dismissals are in play.
“Last man stands": when only one batsman remains, they bat with a runner so the innings continues.
Equipment
We provide bats, tennis or rubber balls, stumps, a scoreboard, and water.
You bring non-marking sports shoes and athletic wear.
